Our History​

BlueStar Service was founded in 2015 to support the growing needs of BlueStar Charters. What started as a way to maintain BlueStar Charters own fleet to the highest standards quickly evolved into Kelowna’s most trusted full-service mechanical shop for fleet maintenance, RV, bus, trailer, and commercial truck repairs.

Director

Dr Jason Neale is a serial entrepreneur, turnaround expert and technology executive. Jason has a real love for starting new ventures, turning around struggling companies, developing novel technology and managing fast growing opportunities.

Jeff Keskinen

Maintenance Shop Foreman
Jeff is a Red Seal commercial truck and trailer mechanic with 12 years’ experience in the industry working with all makes and models of coach, truck, trailer, and RV units.

Lynda Whiting

Operations & Administrative Assistant

Lynda grew up in Ontario where she worked as a potter in a local pottery studio and studied Tourism & Travel at Mohawk College. After completing college, she moved to BC to start her career and experience all the mountains had to offer.

25+ years of Management/Operations experience in Tourism, Transportation and Retail. Including 13 years as Operation Manager for Westcoast Sightseeing, the largest same day sightseeing company in the Vancouver area.

Tiffany Webster

Operations & Administrative Assistant

Lynda

Operations & Administrative Assistant

Lynda has 40 years of experience of the accounting profession including booking keeping, year-end accounts, cashflow analysis, personal taxes and GST/PST. Her extensive experience includes 10 years at BDO Canada, 9 years at KMPG and the balance in private practice. She joined BlueStar in 2018 and helped manage us through Covid.
She was born in Ontario and raised in the Okanagan region. Her hobbies and interests include garnering, camping and walking her dog.

Robert

Parts & Service Advisor

Originally from Sandspit, British Columbia, Robert Stevens has been in the automotive industry for 13 years. He has experience in high-end luxury cars, automotive and RV, service and parts. Outside of work Rob enjoys sailing, travelling, and Formula 1.
